His experience spans the defense enterprise—from strategy, warfare, and intelligence to force development, operations, and sustainment—giving him a broad, deeply grounded view of how national defense priorities translate into force structure and capabilities, and how those choices shape the options available to warfighters. Alberto is the Founder and CEO of Akiva Defense.

Kevin brings expertise in executive operations, organizational governance, and institutional performance, disciplines developed over more than two decades serving in senior leadership roles across the U.S. Marine Corps. His career has been defined by one consistent strength: owning the operating layer beneath senior leaders, ensuring strategic intent translates into disciplined, closed-loop execution.

His experience spans the full spectrum of defense organizational management—from commanding a 2,000-person multi-site organization and managing a $250 million equipment portfolio, directing enterprise-wide inspection programs across the Marine Corps and advising Commanding Generals on high-visibility issues, risk exposure, and corrective action. At the Joint Staff, Kevin managed more than 260 urgent global force requests and coordinated executive policy processes directly tied to the Secretary of Defense.

William brings nearly two decades of experience in electrical engineering, wireless communications, and systems engineering across defense and commercial technology programs. His work spans RF systems, software-defined radios, electronic warfare, GPS, embedded systems, signal processing, and hardware-software integration. Across the U.S. Navy and defense industry, he has led research, development, and engineering efforts from early concept through system implementation, including serving as a principal investigator on DARPA-related wireless research and as chief engineer for a wireless communications program employing open architectures and software-defined radios. William holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech.

Matt combines private-sector product and supply chain leadership with over 20 years of U.S. Marine Corps service. At Becton Dickinson, a global medical technology company, he managed Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning, new product introduction, product lifecycle, and sustainment for high-risk, highly regulated medical devices. In the Marine Corps, he led organizations ranging from small, specialized units to 1,400 personnel. As Chief of Staff in Okinawa, he directed staff action throughout the Pacific, managed budgets above $100 million, and directed logistics and medical support for global disaster relief. At senior headquarters, he prepared leaders for congressional engagements and coordinated interagency action for the Afghanistan transition. Matt earned an MBA from Liberty University, graduating cum laude.

Josh brings technical expertise from key leadership roles at DARPA, NIWC Pacific and Atlantic, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, RAND, and CACI—where he drove major cyber, R&D, and systems-modernization initiatives across the Department of Defense and allied partners.

His experience spans offensive and defensive cyberspace operations, information-assurance engineering, and coalition R&D collaboration. He previously served as Chair and U.S. National Leader within the Five Eyes Technical Cooperation Program (TTCP).

Mark brings over four decades of experience in operational strategy, organizational restructuring, and enterprise-level problem solving. As founder of the Horne Consulting Team, he has supported leadership transitions and growth initiatives across startups and mid-sized companies, helping organizations stabilize operations, align execution, and restore momentum during periods of uncertainty.

Linda is an MIT-trained engineer with more than twenty years of experience across naval platforms, engineering programs, and technical evaluation. She provides targeted guidance on engineering judgment, requirements clarity, and architectural soundness as Akiva advances its system development.
